Khanate are a supergroup (of which this is their final album) that play extreme drone doom metal (much more drone now than on their debut) that very much intends to express the experience of torturous misery not only in the atmospheric sense but also lyrically. By the time you're done listening to the 32 minute closure on this album and you've successfully pieced together the scattered remains of your shattered existence, nothing more will ring truer than the above quote.
